The Grade II listed Royal Small Arms Factory was famous for the manufacture of the Lee Enfield rifle and the Bren gun, and we refurbished the Machine Shop and adapted it in 2000 to house a mixed development which serves the surrounding new housing (the Island Village).

The project was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of London at the time, Nicki Gavron who commended it as a vital piece of urban regeneration.

A six minute film by the RSA Trust describing the history of the building and its use can be seen here: Royal Small Arms Factory: A Short History.
