Nick's experience and current projects include The Atrium Building, Sheerness Docyard Church, East City Point, Enfield Town Library, UCL Thornhaugh Mews, University of Liverpool Library, University of East Anglia Library, University of Kent Library, Open University Library, City Social Sciences Entrance, Bounds Green School, Sunnyhill School,

He has led our work on a wide range of projects in housing and education. Nick has participated in the Open City charity's programme to promote a greater understanding of architecture in schools, and gives talks on architecture to school age children. He has acted as a professional examiner for RIBA Part III at the London Metropolitan School of Architecture.

Nick joined the practice in 1999, became an Associate in 2001, Associate Director in 2006, Director in 2008, and is now our Managing Director. He is also a member of the Association for Project Management having gained a PM qualification in 2004, and has trained as a BREEAM facilitator

Ann's experience and current projects include Honilands School, Hartley School, Capel Manor School, Salisbury School, New City School, Kensington School, Elmington Green and Telferscot, Other work includes projects for The Girls' Day School Trust, Enfield, Stonebridge, Camden, City University London, and new PFI housing in Lambeth.

Ann joined us in 2004, becoming Associate in 2007, an Associate Director in 2011 and a Director in July 2014.

Charles Dokk-Olsen

Charles' experience and current projects include Percy Gee East Wing, The School of Business at Brookfield, New VIc College, Warneford Hospital Masterplan, Stamford Court Conference Centre, University of Leicester Residential Training and Conference Centre, Bennett Foyer, Clapton Library, School of Pharmacy.and UEA Central Library.

Charles has led our work on a wide range of projects in education, working with listed buildings and interiors, at Parliament, with ibraries and at urban design and masterplan level. He joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in 1999, became an Associate in 2007, an Associate Director in 2011 and a Director in July 2014.

Steven Pidwill
Director

Architect: BA (Hons) Dip Arch RIBA MAPM FRSA ICIOB AaPS

Steven‘s experience and current projects include listed buildings, schools, libraries, universities, and housing in both sectors. He has led our framework teams for schools, universities and Parliament. His projects include Warneford Hospital Masterplan, University of Leicester Development Framework Plan, Percy Gee Students Union Building, Kings Avenue School, Freedom Quay, Clapton Library, The Edge, ITF House, Hartley School, Concorde, and Sarah Bonnell School,

He has written reviews and articles on sustainable housing, Passivhaus buldings, libraries, business schools, halls of residence, schools and listed buildings and on play and sport for children. He is APM-qualified as a project manager, an Associate Member of the Association for Project Safety, has been a CABE enabler (and is now a Design Council CABE Building Environment Expert) and wrote the CABE guide to transforming school buildings. He is currently Chair of the Part III profesional examining panel at Cambridge University and has also examined at the Bartlett and Nottingham University. Steven joined us in 1982, became a Director in 1988 and has been our Chairman since 2011.

Tzeh Bin Cheong
Associate Director

Architect

Bin's experience and current projects include Elmington Green, East City Point, Sarah Bonnell School, Upton Cross School, Fawood Avenue, Ada Lewis House, Honilands School, Paddington Green School, Blackfriars Settlement and Sunnyhill School. Bin leads our programme of development and integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) systems.

Bin joined SEH in January 2004, became an Associate in July 2013, and Associate Director in 2017.

Maggie Bray ACMA, CGMA
Director

Maggie joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in April 2008 and, as our Finance Manager, is responsible for the day to day running of our accounts section. Maggie became an Associate of the practice in June 2014.

Ruth Nelson
Associate

Architect: BA DipArch RIBA

Ruth joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in April 2007 and became an Associate of the practice in June 2014.

Ruth has led our teams on the Percy Gee Students Union redevelopment, and the University of Leicester Development Framework Plan and was a leading member of our team for the New VIc Sixth Form College (Phase 1) in Newham, London. Other projects include adaptations to Millfields Community School in Hackney, Bounds Green School expansion in Haringey, and our Technical Advisor role at the new Julians Primary School in Lambeth. Ruth's current projects include an extension to the early years building at Central Park Primary School in Newham, Kensal Rise Library and the review and refresh of the masterplan for the Science Area for the University of Oxford.



Sapna Shah
Associate

Architect

Sapna joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in October 2005, qualified and registered as an architect in 2008 and became an Associate of the practice in June 2014.

Sapna's experience includes our projects for the London Borough of Camden, the International Transport Workers Federation, and London South Bank University and she currently leads our team for Putney High School Performing Arts Centre.

 

Yuto Fujii
Associate

Architect: BArch DipArch Nottingham University

Yuto joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in April 2010 and became an Associate of the practice in June 2014.

Yuto’s experience includes the Percy Gee Building, Stamford Court Conference Centre and the Council Chamber at the University of Leicester, the International Transport Workers Federation, Upton Cross School, Bounds Green School, Stonebridge sites 22b and 24c, and our major residential project at Canning Town. He is currently working as part of our team for New VIc Sixth Form College in Newham.

Yinka Enirayetan

Architect

Yinka joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in October 2014 after working for a number of years at the London Borough of Newham. He has led our project for a new primary school with homes above at Clapham Park in Lambeth (Telferscot School) and is now leading a phase of our project for new homes at Elmington Green for Bellway.

Dr Patricia Martin del Guayo
Associate

Architect, Master of Architecture in Urban Design (Harvard), PhD in Sustainable Urban Design (AA)

Patricia joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in March 2015, having gained her architecture degree in Spain and gained experience in several offices in Spain and Germany, and with her own practice. She holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design qualification from Harvard, and a PhD in Sustainable Urban Design from the Architectural Association in London. Patricia's work with us includes masterplanning for new homes in East London, the National Space Park for the University of Leicester, and five major masterplanning projects and proposals for new homes for the University of Oxford.

Hilary Ennos

Architect

Hilary joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in October 2014 having gained experience in the Lake District, and on residential projects in Chelsea. Hilary has been central to our work on the Elephant Studios and other projects for London South Bank University, projects for the Girls“ Day School Trust and the University of Oxford, and our East Wing extension project for the Percy Gee Building at the University of Leicester.

George Georgiou

HNC Building Studies

George is our Practice & Quality Manager and joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in 1995,becoming an Associate of the practice in 2007. George set up and manages our integrated Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) and ensures its continued compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. He supports our competitive submissions and ensures the smooth running of our office and our Phoenix Yard business community.

Sundas Rohilla
Designer

Architect

Sundas joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in June 2013. She has been part of our teams for our Stonebridge project, and for Central Park, St Leonards, De Lucy, Altmore, New City and Salisbury primary schools and is currently working on two major housing developments for Bellway Homes called Elmington in South London.

Sundas gained her Part III at Westminister University.

Hee Kyung Sohn
Designer

RIBA Part II architectural assistant

Hee joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in June 2013 and is currently studying towards his Part 3. His experience inlcudes Kensington Primary School, Central Park Primary School, feasibility studies for Woodmansterne Primary School and a Montessori nursery extension. Hee is currently working as part of our team for our major residential project in Canning Town, East London.

Reinis Kokins
Designer

RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant

Reinis joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in May 2016. After obtaining a masters degree in architecture in Politecnico di Milano he gained experience of residential architecture in Latvia.

Reinis is currently working with us on a large housing redevelopment project in South London.

Christina Gauci
Administrator

Christina joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in September 2014 as an administrator having previously worked with architectural practices for over ten years, firstly at Andrew Downie & Partners and then at Benoy Architects.

Sarah Kidd
Designer

RIBA Part 2 architectural assistant

Sarah joined SEH in September 2014 spending her Part 1 placement with us working on the Fielding Johnson Building in Leicester and our Performing Arts Centre at Putney High School.

After returning to university to continue her studies, Sarah completed her MArch at Northumbria University in 2017 where her Dissertation was nominated for the RIBA president medals.

Currently working on a doctor and dentist surgery with residential housing in Hackney.

Anna joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in August 2016 as part of our administration team, looking after our clients and visitors who come to visit us at Phoenix Yard.

Alvaro Santos
Designer

Alvaro joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in May 2017, after working on a range of residential projects in south east England. He completed his Masters in Architecture in the University of Seville, Spain. Alvaro is working on GDST projects at the Royal High School Bath and Streatham and Clapham High School.

Hasan Abbas
Designer

Hasan joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in May 2017. He completed his Part II qualification at London Metropolitan University and gained experience in London with an architecture and structural engineering studio.

Andrea Brufatto
Designer

Andrea joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in July 2017, after working on a range of residential projects in north London. He qualified as an architect in Italy and graduated in MArch from the University IUAV of Venice in 2016.

Andrea is currently working on one of our higher education schemes in Leicester.

Sheila Esteve Ganau
Designer

Sheila joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in November 2017. She completed her Masters in Architecture in the Polytechnic University of Valencia and holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Environmental Design from the Architectural Association in London. She has gained experience working on listed buildings in London and residential schemes in Spain.

She is currently working in a mixed use development in Hackney that combines health care and residential use.

Cristina Marti Vilar

Cristina joined Shepheard Epstein Hunter in October 2017. She completed her Masters in Architecture in the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain, and gained experience in several offices in Spain and New York.

Cristina is currently working on Battilion Court, a residential project in London.

Regina Ortega

Patty Leo
Designer

Patty recently Joined SEH and is currently working on Beavers Primary School in Hounslow.

Her previous working experience includes a beachside village in the Cornish Coast and luxurious retirement villages in the Wiltshire Countryside and the Cotswolds, which comprised contemporary apartments, restaurants, pool and a modern spa. In 2015, Patty gained her Part 1 in Architecture at the Sir John Cass School of Architecture from the London Metropolitan University.
